Financial Integrity & Transparency

Safer Birth in Bama is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization committed to responsible stewardship of every dollar entrusted to us. We file an annual IRS Form 990 and maintain board oversight of all financial activity. Our Treasurer is a licensed CPA, and financial reports are reviewed regularly by our board of directors.

As a growing organization, funds are allocated toward maternal health education, workforce development, clinical equipment support, community partnerships, and essential administrative infrastructure that sustains our mission. We believe strong governance and transparency are foundational to improving maternal outcomes across Alabama.

Our most recent Form 990 is available upon request.
