Advocating for Safer Birth in Alabama

At Safer Birth in Bama, we are committed to supporting legislation that increases access to high-quality, evidence-based maternal and infant healthcare, particularly in rural Alabama. Every family deserves access to safe, respectful, and research-backed care, whether they choose to give birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home. We advocate for policies that remove barriers to care, improve health outcomes, and support the professionals who provide evidence-based maternity care across our state.
